Volunteer Opportunities
We have had a great response from the community and at this time our committees are filled. Once the town is approved we will have about 12 months to plan for the town of Center Grove to begin operating as a town. During that time we will need input from residents, volunteers to serve on specific committees and of course people interested in running for a seat on the town council or the Clerk/Treasurer.
Our current committee structure and a brief description of each can be found below.
Governance – Would you like to have the ultimate say in your government structure? Determining the size and scope of the government for Center Grove, Indiana is the charge of this team.
Infrastructure – Do you have an interest in road maintenance? This team will determine how to most effectively manage the roads and sewers for the newly created town.
Resource Management – Are you interested in planning and zoning? This committee will determine how the land will be used in Center Grove. Additionally, they will roll-up all of the expenses for the town.
Community Services – Do you have a background or interest in law enforcement or fire protection? The community services team will determine how the town will provide our public safety services such as police and fire protection and emergency management.
